Admissions
Welcome to the Gable Hall Admissions information page, and thank you for considering Gable Hall as a secondary school for your child.
This page tells you how to apply to Gable Hall and where to find further information. Our full admissions policy, with details of our admissions criteria, can be downloaded from the bottom of the page.
Parents are also advised to read the advice given by Thurrock Local Authority which includes how and when to apply, what to do if you wish to appeal and how to apply late or make 'in year' applications. The advice also includes catchment area information by address. All this guidance can be accessed here.
Gable Hall does not give priority to applications from students enroled at any particular primary or secondary school.

Appeals
Parents/carers will have the right of appeal to an independent appeal panel if they are dissatisfied with an admission decision of the school. The appeal panel will be independent of the school. The arrangements for appeals will be in line with the school’s admissions appeals code published by the Department for Education. Should you wish to appeal, please complete the Appeals Application form at the bottom of the page.
Please be aware that any appeal must either demonstrate the academy has administered their admissions policy incorrectly or that Gable Hall can provide access to an education that your current school cannot. If an appeal is made on medical grounds, evidence must be provided from a GP or hospital consultant.
Please follow the link below to view the appeals code.
