At Mossbourne Fobbing Academy, our unwavering commitment to Excellence, Unity, and a No Excuses culture continues to shape the holistic education we provide for our students. At MFA, PSHE Drop-Down Days are more than just special events - they are essential milestones in helping our students grow into informed, confident, and responsible young people.

Our third Drop-Down Day of the academic year brought together a wide range of workshops across all year groups, covering key themes such as equality and discrimination, British values, radicalisation and extremism, drug awareness, and post-16 pathways. Sessions were led by a blend of expert external visitors—including Open Road, Essex Police, and Ask Apprenticeships—as well as dedicated staff across the academy.

From understanding protected characteristics to exploring career aspirations, every session was designed to deepen students’ real-world understanding and equip them with practical skills for the future. The engagement, maturity, and curiosity shown by our students were truly impressive throughout the day.
