If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, you must apply for their reception school place for September 2025.
Parents are also advised to read the advice given by Thurrock Local Authority which includes how and when to apply, what to do if you wish to appeal and how to apply late or make 'in year' applications. The advice also includes catchment area information by address. All this guidance can be accessed here.
Mossbourne Fobbing Academy does not give priority to applications from students enroled at any particular primary or secondary school.

| Thursday 15 January 2026 | Application period closes for on-time applications |
| Thursday 16 April 2026 | Notification of offers are available from 12:30am |
Applications received after the closing date are treated as late applications. This means there will be far less chance of your child being offered a place at the school you want.
