Student Wellbeing

Greetings to the Gable Hall Student Wellbeing Hub!

In times of struggle, the usual advice is to seek professional help. However, what often remains untold is how young individuals can lend a hand to themselves.

We're here to share a toolkit of strategies with you, designed to empower you in managing your wellbeing. The journey forward is guided by you – if a strategy proves effective, embrace it; if not, don't hesitate to explore alternatives.

Please bear in mind, these activities complement but don't replace the importance of seeking guidance from mental health professionals when needed. There's no shame in seeking help; in fact, it's an act of strength.

If you ever find yourself in need of a listening ear, don't hesitate to reach out. You can call the school office or send an email to:

WhoCanHelp@gablehall.coman email address set up for our students. The email will go straight to the safeguarding team who can direct to appropriate sources of support or information linked to wellbeing.

Pastoral@gablehall.coman email address set up for Parents/Carers. The email will go straight to the Pastoral team who will refer your email to the appropriate member of staff and ensure someone contacts you directly to deal with your concern.

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we might need a little more help. This is a completely normal part of life and we will all experience times that are harder to manage alone

Consequently, it is useful to know where to go to get the support you need. Below are links to pages packed with useful advice, activities and links to support in school and beyond.
